 This week we had to make two limericks. A limerick is a poem that follows a specific structure of AABBA. What is your favourite type of poetry to write? Here is one of mine.

Life cycle of planets

1.After millions of years or billions in the case of our planets the star around which it orbits dies and in dying expands.  

  2.Swallowing up the planet cans in some what poetic cycle the planet once again become dust and gas as it is destroyed in the process. 

3. Planets don't have life cycles, stars are dynamic objects depending on their composition and mass.

There was a fat lazy cat named mat.

That chased a skinny old rat.

Then the cat ate a carrot and 

Turned into a parrot.

That's one funny cat named mat.

There was an edible tower 

that tasted really sour

It was really gummy

And it tasted yummy

I ate the edible tower.

Haiku poem

A Haiku poem needs to have;
*5 syllables in the first line
*7 syllables in the second line
*5 syllables in the third line
A haiku only has 3 lines.

I  learnt to do different types of poems the hardest poem was the cinqauin because i found it heard to think of deffernt words  easiest poem was the acrostic poem because it was around me.
